ENGLISH: First Individual Project (Misuses of Words)

Instruction: Search an advertisement (such as billboards, flyers, news ad, internet ads, etc.), product labels (such as instruction manuals, and product information), signs and symbols (such as traffic signage, company name) or anything that are misused (such as wrong use of grammar, spelling, subject-verb agreement, adjective/adverb, figures of speech). You have to take a picture, scan, or by any means for this will serve as your evidence.

Example:

  1. So fun they won't even know their learning. (Source: Creative Kids Software)*
  2. Cheaper than cheaper.
  3. Smile, your saving a lot of money.
*Important: You must provide the source of the advertisement, product label, etc..

Addition instructions:
  • Highlight the error/s.
  • Don't create a cover page, just write your name, column # and seat #, schedule and date.
  • You are only required to submit five (5) misused words in five (5) pages.
  • Schedule of data gathering: July 22, 2013.
  • Deadline: August 05, 2013.
